Driving on Suspended License — According to a report made by Officer Kristen Lee on December 7, she observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed, so she conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in which the driver, Travis W. Winston, 34, was driving. Dispatch confirmed that Winston’s license was suspended.

DUI — According to a report made by Officer Dexter Richardson on December 13, he was running radar and witnessed a Dodge Ram in which the driver looked intoxicated. He followed the Ram and then the driver pulled the truck over to the emergency lane and made an abrupt stop in the pitch black, so Officer Richardson initiated his blue lights for safety reasons. Officer Richardson approached the pickup truck for a welfare check and could smell alcohol and the driver had slurred speech. The driver, Jimmy Street, 48, refused to perform a sobriety test but did agree to give blood. He was arrested for DUI, First Offense.

Theft — According to a report made by Officer Brad Allen on December 9, he was dispatched to Walmart to speak to loss prevention. On two different occasions a white male entered and stole over $1,700 worth of merchandise from the Huntingdon Walmart location. After investigation, Covington Walmart had caught the man responsible also stealing in that store. Clifford Clark, 48. Clark had been arrested and taken to Tipton County Jail then transported to Carroll County Jail for Theft over $1,000.

Shoplifting — According to a report made by Officer Jonathan McDowell on December 12, he was dispatched to Walmart in Huntingdon by security officer Joe Lowe. He stated Adren Simmons, 48, attempted to steal gloves. Adren did admit to sticking the gloves inside his pocket without paying.
