From the Apr 29, 2025 e-EditionChild Abuse and Neglect — According to a report by Officer Kristen Lee, On March 28, officers responded to Drew Court for a small child walking in the roadway without shoes. Upon arrival, the child was seen in the ditch on the side of the road. The child was unkept, and was not wearing any shoes. The parents were identified as Noah Nesbit, 24, of Huntingdon, and Shayla Johnson, 24, of Huntingdon. They were both charged with Child Neglect.
Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication — According to a report by Officer Tony King, on April 5, he responded to the Huntingdon Baptist ER. Aaron Hopper, 33, was impaired and being very disorderly and abusive to officers and hospital staff so he was arrested and transported to Carroll County Jail.
Assault — According to a report by Officer Dexter Richardson, on April 6, he responded to an assault that happened at Huntingdon Baptist ER. The victim stated that she was working her shift when Marty Harris, 56, had asked for some water so when she came back, he was under the ER sink messing with the shut off valve. She advised him he wasn’t allowed to mess with plumbing, so he struck her in the right side of her face, and her chest. He was transported to Carroll County Jail.
Theft — According to a report by Officer Jonathan McDowell, on April 7, reported to McCall Street because a victim advised she had been watching an apartment for two incarcerated individuals and noticed that someone had gone through a window and stole a gaming console.
Shoplifting — According to a report by Officer Jonathan McDowell, on April 13, he responded to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter. Crystal Christman, 37, was accused of stealing food and merchandise totaling $48.99. She was given 10 days to book into jail.
Theft of Merchandise and Criminal Trespass — According to a report by Officer Dexter Richardson, On April 15, he was dispatched to Dollar General in Huntingdon in reference to a shoplifter. Dennie E. Jessee, 40, was seen on surveillance stealing items and was placed under arrest.
Speeding, Driving on Revoked — According to a report by Officer Dexter Richardson, On April 8, he witnessed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Highway 22 N. The driver, Pravi Maxwell, 47, had a revoked driver’s license. He was transported to Carroll County Jail.
