Domestic Assault — John Michael Millsap, 49, Linden Street, McKenzie is charged with Domestic Assault on May 3.

Officer Jason Artymovich filed a report after Millsap was reportedly involved in a physical altercation with a family member. During the altercation, Millsap reportedly took the victim’s phone and fled the scene. He was additionally charged with Interference with an Emergency Call.

Domestic Assault — Jeffery Sawyer, 52, Florida Avenue, McKenzie, was charged with Domestic Assault on May 1.

Officer Jason Artymovich filed a report after an informant reported a domestic assault in progress on Florida Avenue. Sawyer reportedly threatened physical harm to two individuals and the pets. One of the individuals had been held against her will on a previous occasion more than a decade earlier. Sawyer was located near the Farmer’s Market, taken into custody and transported to Carroll County Jail.

Driving on Revoked, Leaving the Scene — Monetavious D. Finch, 32, Paris, was charged with Driving on a Revoked License and Leaving the Scene of an Accident on April 29.

Officer Matthew Cunningham’s report indicated Finch’s vehicle was located disabled at the corner of Walnut and Stonewall after the vehicle struck a curb. A passenger in the car stated Finch abandoned the vehicle and was walking. Officers located Finch in town and learned his license was revoked due to a DUI. He was transported to Carroll County Jail.

Active Warrant — Brandi A. Baker, 35, Trenton, was arrested on an active warrant for Failure to Appear issued by Trenton Police Department.

Officer Darren Davis stopped a vehicle for an inoperable headlight. The passenger in the car was Baker, who was arrested and transported to Carroll County Jail.

Outstanding Warrant — Russell Eugene Townes, 57, Walnut Circle, McKenzie, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

MPD Sergeant Cody Coleman witnessed Townes walking on Jackson Street. Coleman had knowledge of the outstanding warrant and transported Townes to Carroll County Jail.
