From the Jul 15, 2025 e-EditionTheft from Motor Vehicle — According to a report by Deputy Jason Walker on July 6, Thomas Keele called the Sheriff’s department and reported that his gun was missing from his car after a party he had on the 3rd of July. Mr. Keele stated he took the gun out of his bedroom and locked it inside his car because he was having a party that night. He didn’t know who got in his car and stole it at the time of the report.
Possession of Sch. II Drugs — According to a report by Deputy Bongiovanni on July 6, he observed a black Ford F-150 traveling westbound on Highway 70 through Cedar Grove, with Cody Campbell driving the vehicle. The deputy was aware of Campbell’s license being revoked for a prior DUI conviction. Campbell was arrested for driving on a revoked license and the vehicle was searched before being towed. Inside the truck there were five suboxone pills, one glass smoking pipe, and a glass jar with meth inside.
Identity Theft — According to a report by Deputy Paul Williams on July 7, he responded to the dispatch lobby for a report. Elizabeth and Ryan Yelverton reported that Ryan’s identity was stolen. His social security number, email address, and old physical address were used.
