Domestic Assault Arrest — On December 9, deputies responded to a domestic violence call on Ephesus Church Road in Hollow Rock after dispatch advised a female subject was requesting EMS. Upon arrival, deputies found a woman sitting on the front porch in visible pain, with her daughter standing nearby suffering from a bloody nose and visible marks on her neck.

Deputies observed that the woman had sustained a large bite mark on her right arm that appeared to be a deep laceration and was bleeding heavily. EMS was requested to the scene to treat both individuals. Deputies were advised the suspect had fled the residence and was last seen heading west on Ephesus Church Road.

Further investigation revealed the incident began while the woman was in the bathroom when her son, Drew Logan Autry, 32, of Hollow Rock, began banging on the door and yelling. The door was kicked in, and a physical altercation followed when the daughter attempted to intervene. During the struggle, the suspect allegedly struck both individuals before turning his aggression toward the woman, biting her arm and causing significant injury that later required stitches.

The daughter suffered injuries to her hands, throat, face, and nose. After the altercation, the suspect fled the area.

Deputies conducted a search of the surrounding area while EMS transported the injured parties to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.

The incident remains under investigation.

Dogs Not Allowed at Large — On December 9, deputies responded to a residence on Highway 423 in McKenzie after receiving a call regarding dogs preventing a driver from exiting a vehicle. Deputies made contact with the reporting party, who stated she was trapped in her vehicle due to neighboring dogs being loose and aggressive. She further advised the dogs had been an ongoing issue and had previously killed animals on her property.

Deputy McClure then went to a nearby residence and spoke with Bradley A. Becker, 58, of McKenzie, in reference to the dogs. While driving to the residence, three dogs were observed standing in the roadway, barking and growling. Becker stated he believed all of his dogs were at his home.

Deputies advised Becker that video evidence showed his dogs on neighboring property. It was noted that Becker had received multiple warnings, including three issued on the same day, regarding the dogs being at large. Becker stated he had shock collars for the dogs but advised he had not programmed them when asked to do so.

Becker was cited into Carroll County General Sessions Court for dogs not allowed at large, with a court date set for December 17 at 9 a.m.

This incident occurred in Carroll County.

Motor Vehicle Theft — On December 8, deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence on Abbott Lane in Huntingdon.

Deputies were advised that a red 1999 Ford F-150 had been taken from the property earlier that morning.

During the investigation, deputies reviewed surveillance footage that showed the truck leaving the property at approximately 9:54 a.m. No additional activity was observed on the video.

The stolen vehicle was described as a red 1999 Ford F-150 with a faded hood. The truck was entered into NCIC as stolen. The case remains under investigation.
