Carroll County Circuit Court Indictments for September

HUNTINGDON — The following are indictments from the September 2024 term of the Grand Jury of the Circuit Court.

Samuel Bruce Robertson, charged with the Sale of Methamphetamine.

Stephen Brent Moffler, charged with Aggravated Stalking, Violation of No Contact Order and Harassment. Moffler is charged with texting, calling, Facebook messaging, and following the victim, who had a no contact order in effect against Moffler.

Nicky Joe Brown, charged with Aggravated Assault, Domestic Assault and Vandalism. The warrant said he placed the victim in fear for her safety after assaulting her and then striking her vehicle with his vehicle, a Class C felony.

Charlie Carr, charged with Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Domestic Assault, and Violation of a No Contact Order. The charge indicated he attempted to strangle his victim, and he engaged in reckless behavior as a passenger in the victim’s vehicle. He is accused of violating a no-contact order with the victim.

Demarcus Devon Clark, charged with Violation of the Light Law and Possession of a Controlled Substance. The charge indicates he drove his vehicle with an inoperable taillight and had a plant-like material believed to be marijuana.

Robert Anthony Harris, charged with Violation of Order of Protection. The charge indicates Harris parked his vehicle in close proximity to the victim, who had a order of protection against Harris.

Maudie Julafe’ Henley and Brandon Chase Hopkins, charged with Aggravated Child Abuse, Neglect, or Endangerment and Child Abuse or Neglect. The charge indicates Harris left a child unattended in a crib with no supervision for one hour and also did not provide adequate nourishment and hydration.

Kawasha Quinvette Smith, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia. The charge indicated Smith was in possession of .5 grams of morphine and Soboxone, with intent to deliver, and drug paraphernalia.

Ashton Maluk Ridley, charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. He is accused of possessing a Glock .22 handgun while having a prior drug felony conviction and of having $2,500 in cash, which resulted in the Theft of Property charge.

Deondre Leron Roberson, charged with Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia. The charge indicates Roberson had a Glock .45 handgun while in possession of a controlled substance. He is accused of possession of marijuana and for having drug paraphernalia.

Darius Deshun Rubin, charged with Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver. The charge indicates Rubin possessed a .9 mm pistol while in possession of a controlled substance, believed to be marijuana.

Gary Lynn Wallace, charged with Driving While Revoked, Tampering With Evidence, Possession of Meth, and Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia. Wallace’s license was revoked due to a previous DUI conviction. He is charged with possession of methamphetamine and tampering with evidence, and had a meth pipe.

James Fred Warmath, charged with Aggravated Burglary and Theft of Property. The charge states Warmath entered a home in Trezevant with the intent of burglary, taking a TV, food, personal hygiene products, and music equipment.

Demarrus Pritchett, charged with Dogs Running at Large. The charge indicates Pritchett, on November 8, 2022, intentionally or knowingly allowed his dog to run loose on the victim’s premises. The victim’s dog was injured by Pritchett’s dog.
