Carroll County General Sessions Court

HUNTINGDON (July 3) — The following cases were heard in Carroll County General Sessions Court on July 3.

Gary Lynn Wallace, Harris Road, McKenzie, was the lone defendant bound over to the Grand Jury of the Circuit Court. Wallace is charged with Tampering with Evidence, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Possession of Schedule II Drugs: Meth; Driving While Revoked-Second or Subsequent.

Cheyenne Evans, Cherry Avenue, McKenzie, guilty, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, $150 fine, probation, credit for time served, alcohol and drug evaluation; dismissed, Contraband in Penal Facility; dismissed, Simple Possession, dismissed, Meth-Possession.

Michael Evans, Cole Fairway, Paris, guilty, DUI-First Offense, $350 fine, 11/29 jail, not to drive for one year; dismissed, Vehicular Assault; dismissed, Simple Possession; dismissed, Schedule II Drugs-Manufacture, Deliver, Sell or Possess; dismissed, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; dismissed, Seat Belt Violation; dismissed, Driver Failed to Exercise Due Care.

Jessica Renee Phillips, Henderson Road, Sardis, Tenn., guilty, Probation Violation, 20 days jail, extended probation.

Ja’Tavion L. Wigfall, Haven Road, Murfreesboro, guilty, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, 30 days jail, probation; guilty, Simple Possession, Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, 11/29 jail; dismissed, Theft.

Derek A. Williams, Nuckolls Road, Bolivar, guilty, Theft of Merchandise, 20 days jail, $20 restitution to Walmart, no contact with Walmart and another victim, may receive day-for-day jail reduction for successful completion of rehab; dismissed, Harassment.
