John Othello Hightower, Jr., Cole St, McKenzie, was bound over to the Grand Jury on charges of Financial Exploitation Elderly/Vulnerable Person - Attempt; False Reports - Attempt; Forgery - $1,000 to < $2,500 - Attempt; Forgery; Forgery; Forgery; Theft (Up to $1,000).
The following cases resulted in a guilty plea or finding.
Drew Logan Autry, Ephesus Church Rd, Hollow Rock, guilty, Probation Violation - Booked, no fine, alcohol drug evaluation and recommendation, 23 days credit, extend probation for three months.
Jeffrey Keith Goodrum, Rolling Hills Ln, McKenzie, guilty, Probation Violation - Not Booked, no fine, report to jail September 12 at 8 a.m., sentence may be served on consecutive weekends, last 10 days can be on weekends, probation extended for six months, shall not miss probation meeting until paid in full and all conditions met.
Stacey Hilliard, Oaklawn Dr, McKenzie, guilty, Probation Violation - Booked, extend probation for three months.
Dalton Manhart, Cotton Creek Rd, Bruceton, guilty, Leaving Scene of Accident - Property Damage - Less than $1,500, $50 fine, six months supervised probation, responsible for any unpaid expense after insurance.
William A. Staggs, Cole St, McKenzie, guilty, Sexual Offender Form Violation - Attempt, $350 fine, 11/29, supervised probation, no contact with McKenzie schools, cognitive behavioral course; dismissed, Sexual Offender Form Violation - Attempt; dismissed.
Christopher Stewart, Donnell Ave, Greenfield, guilty, Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia Uses & Activities, $150 fine, supervised probation for 11/29 or until paid, transfer to unsupervised probation upon payment of fine costs and conditions of probation.
Courtney Nicole Wortham, Wortham Loop, Huntingdon, guilty, Driving While License Cancelled, $100 fine, cannot pay fine costs and taxes today due through probation, supervised probation for balance of six months, must obtain a valid drivers license; dismissed, Seatbelt Violation - 18 and Older; dismissed, Registration Expired.
The following cases were dismissed.
Randy Lynn Anderson, Morris St, McKenzie, dismissed, Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia Uses and Activities; dismissed, Simple Possession/Casual Exchange (Marijuana <½ ounce or 14.175 grams); dismissed, Meth - MFG, Deliver, Sell, Possession with Intent.
Thomas Ballew, Mitchel Rd, McKenzie, dismissed, Driving While License Revoked.
Donald Gordon, Ball Creek Rd, Huntingdon, dismissed, Theft (Up to $1,000), dismissed upon payment of restitution of $665.00.
Isabel Marisol Guzman, Claytontown Rd, Buchanan, dismissed - traffic school, Speeding; dismissed, Driving While License Suspended; dismissed, Registration Expired.
Rodrigo Atkinson Reyna, Ash St, Bruceton, dismissed, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
Heather Smith, Hwy 79 S, Paris, dismissed, Driving While License Revoked.
Trent M. Townes, Linden St, McKenzie, dismissed, Probation Violation - Booked.
The following case was rescheduled: Ja’Shawn Louis Turner.
