Aggravated Assault — Benjamin V. Winkler, 42, of Huntingdon, was arrested on October 16, according to a report made by Officer Angie Barker. Barker received a call to respond to Huntingdon Liquor in regard to a white male subject that got into an altercation with a customer in the store, and he stated, “I will kill you; I will kill you all.” The clerk asked him to leave the store, and he did. The clerk went outside and saw Winkler pull back into the parking lot, so the clerk and customers ran back inside and locked the door and called 911. The clerk could see him through the window, and she stated that he did have a weapon, and they were scared for their lives. A warrant was issued for Winkler, and he was picked up by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department.

Disorderly Conduct; Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia — Eric N. Wright, 43, was arrested on October 6, according to a report made by Officer Daniel Thomas. Officers were dispatched to the Huntingdon Motel from a caller who said that her neighbor refused to return her jumper box to her. After knocking on the door of Wright’s apartment it was ajar and opened. Wright exited the bathroom and said he didn’t hear the knock. After telling Wright why officers were there, he became agitated and aggressive. Wright rushed the officer, and the officer grabbed his arm and chest and told him to calm down; and that is when they hit the dresser that exposed a set of scales, marijuana, and white residue. Wright finally went to his vehicle and retrieved the jumper box and continued to argue with his neighbors and shout. There were also two syringes, a pill grinder, and a rolling tray with rolling papers.

Public Intoxication — Brandon T. Huss, 30, of Huntingdon, was arrested for public intoxication on October 16.
