Assault, Evading Arrest — According to a report made on December 27, Huntingdon Police Department received a hang-up phone call originating from Hill Court. The victim stated that she had been assaulted by Malik Lee, 20, of Atwood, but when the police arrived, he ran out of the back door. The victim stated they had been fighting all night and at one point he swung a mop handle at her, missing her, and striking her three-year-old daughter on the bridge of her nose. Officer Joey Hedge went outside to look for Lee and spotted him, but he ran through the woods on foot. At a later time, officers discovered he had been picked up by Kenneth Cook, 31, of Milan. Cook and Lee were discovered going into Gibson County and were transported to Carroll County Jail. Kenneth Cook was charged with Accessory after the Fact.
