Aggravated Assault — Daniel Pannell, 28, of Huntingdon, was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon on October 1. According to a report made by Sgt. Tony King he responded to an assault call in Hillcourt Circle. The victim met the officer in the roadway, with a stream of blood on his forehead above his right eye. He advised the officer that he needed an ambulance. He also stated he had a medical condition. He stated his neighbor, Daniel, came and struck him with a metal object believed to be a tool while he was on his own porch. After several minutes of knocking on the door; police officers were able to arrest Pannell.

Sex Offender Registration Violation — Howard G. Corder, 70, did not show up to his appointment on September 25, for violation of the sex offender registry. Officer Brad Allen issued the warrant and Howard was located at his residence and taken into custody and transported to Carroll County Jail.

Assault on a First Responder, Public Intoxication — Kimberly Townsend, 59, was arrested and transported to Carroll County Jail on September 30, according to a report made by officer Matthew Avalon. Officer Avalon responded to a call at Baptist Memorial Hospital emergency room. When he arrived at the ER he was informed of an intoxicated female (Kimberly) being dropped off by a Hollow Rock police officer. Townsend was being combative with the ER staff and her blood alcohol level was three times over the legal limit. Townsend was informed that if she left the hospital she would get charged with public intoxication. Townsend began to leave the hospital; so, she was placed under arrest but attempted to resist by kicking the officer.
