From the Dec 9, 2025 e-EditionTheft of Merchandise — According to a report made on November 24, Officer Brad Allen responded to Walmart in Huntingdon in reference to a shoplifter from an incident that occurred on November 21. Store security reported that a man identified as Santiago Perdomo Montova had taken several items from the store without paying. The merchandise was valued at $42.49.
The items were not recovered, and Perdomo Montova was cited into Carroll County General Sessions Court for theft of property, conduct involving merchandise.
Theft of merchandise — According to a report made on November 19, Patrolman Dexter Richardson was dispatched to Walmart in Huntingdon regarding a shoplifting complaint from an earlier incident on Nov. 9. Store security advised that a man later identified as Wesley Bell had been recorded selecting multiple items, entering the family restroom with the merchandise, and then leaving without the items. The stolen merchandise totaled $80.53. Security also determined that Bell attempted to shoplift additional items valued at $50.88 on November 19. Bell was taken into custody for shoplifting, banned from Walmart property, and transported to the Carroll County Jail, where his bond was set at $1,000.
Driving on a Suspended License, Speeding — According to a report made on December 2, Patrolman Daniel Inman was running radar at Nanny’s on West Main Street when he observed a silver Ford Mustang traveling 45 mph in a 30-mph zone. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver was identified as Syndesky Bowers, who was unable to provide any documents other than the vehicle title. A check through dispatch showed Bowers’ driver’s license was suspended out of Jackson for failure to file insurance June 29 and failure to appear as of August 24, with the suspension listed as indefinite. Bowers was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding.
Disorderly Conduct — According to a report made on November 28, Patrolman Dexter Richardson responded to the Wilson House on Northwood Drive in Huntingdon regarding a woman making threats toward residents and medical staff. The woman, identified as Dallas Painter, stated she did not want to go to the hospital for evaluation and told officers she wanted to go to jail, adding that she would do whatever was necessary to make that happen.
For the safety of residents, staff, and officers, Painter was detained after making threats to kill residents and using racial slurs. She was verbally aggressive and refused to get into the patrol car until officers used soft, open-hand control techniques to gain compliance. Painter was transported to the Carroll County Jail and charged with disorderly conduct. Her bond was set at $500, which she refused to sign.
