From the Jan 27, 2026 e-EditionTheft of Merchandise — According to a report made on January 11, officers were contacted by Walmart security regarding a shoplifting incident that occurred on January 8. Store security advised that Bethany R. Brown and a man identified as Cody Bradley entered the store and took a pair of women’s shoes valued at $59.98 without paying for the merchandise.
Warrants were issued for Brown and Bradley for theft of property, conduct involving merchandise.
At the time the report was completed, neither subject had been located.
Speeding, Driving on a Suspended License — According to a report made on January 10, Sgt. Tony King observed a vehicle traveling southbound on Highway 22 South at a high rate of speed. Radar confirmed the vehicle was traveling 72 mph in a 55-mph zone.
A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver was identified as Raymond Blackburn. A check through dispatch revealed Blackburn’s driver’s license had been suspended as of November 10, 2025, due to failure to appear in Huntingdon City Court.
Blackburn was cited for speeding and driving on a revoked, suspended or canceled license and was issued a 10-day booking citation. He contacted a friend to drive the vehicle from the scene.
The incident occurred in Huntingdon, Carroll County.
