From the Mar 25, 2025 e-EditionDriving on Revoked License; Speeding — On March 8, Officer Arline observed a Ford Bronco going 72-mph in a 55-mph zone. Officer Arline conducted a traffic stop and ran the driver’s information through dispatch, and identified the driver as Martha McKinney, 66. Dispatch confirmed that McKinney’s drivers license was suspended due to failure to pay fines in Kentucky. McKinney was issued a state misdemeanor citation for Driving while Suspended and Speeding. She was advised that she had 10 days to report to Carroll County Jail for processing and receive a court date.
Driving on Revoked License; Compliance for Financial Responsibility — On March 7, Officer Brad Allen was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash with no injuries on Main Street East near the Court Square. The driver: Kala Lee Baggett, 29, had a suspended driver’s license. She was issued a citation into General Sessions Court and charged with driving while suspended first offense and no proof of insurance.
