From the Jun 25, 2024 e-EditionDriving on Revoked License — Bennie Harbin, 50, of Huntingdon, was given 10 days to report to the Carroll County Jail for the offense of driving on revoked license first offense. Officer Townes observed Harbin in physical control of a silver Nissan Versa traveling West on Main Street in Huntingdon. Officer Townes knew the driver driver’s license was revoked. She pulled Harbin over and he was cited into General Sessions Court.
Speeding, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia Use — Tina Shilts, 38, was given 10 days to report to the Carroll County Jail for the offense of possession of drug paraphernalia. Officer Townes found the defendant to be in possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop. Shilts was traveling at a high rate of speed on Main Street East in Huntingdon and was initiated to pull over. While Townes spoke to Tina she could smell an odor of marijuana. In the car was a cigarette pack containing a marijuana roach in the center of the rear floorboard. There was also a cigarillo package in the center of the console with contents of the cigarillo emptied into the package.
