From the Jul 30, 2024 e-EditionReport of Animals Running at Large — On June 26, 2024, Officer Ethan Parham responded to a call regarding a dog running loose on Cherokee Lane. Upon arrival, Brooke Jones, reported a gray pitbull with an orange collar had entered her residence, chased, and killed her cat. Ms. Jones provided photos of the deceased cat and the unleashed pitbull, which was not at its owner’s residence. The dog’s owner, Clemens Borntreger, 24, of Huntingdon, was issued a citation for allowing animals to run at large.
Report of Speeding, Driving on Revoked Driver’s License — On June 28, 2024, Officer Malachi Arline, observed a gray Buick traveling down West Main Street in Huntingdon going 51 mph in a 30-mph zone. According to the report, Officer Arline initiated a traffic stop on Courtland Sivadon, 31, of Paris, and asked for his driver’s license which he stated he didn’t have. After speaking to dispatch, they informed Officer Arline that Sivadon’s license was revoked for driving under the influence. The defendant was issued a citation and given ten days to book himself into the Carroll County Jail.
