From the Jul 16, 2024 e-EditionDomestic Assault — David E. Myles, 49, of Huntingdon, was arrested on July 8 for Domestic Assault. Officer Brad Allen was dispatched to High Street for a domestic assault. Upon his arrival, he spoke with the victim who stated that her boyfriend, David Myles, and herself were sitting on the sofa and she wanted to leave, and he became violent and punched her in the head causing a cut on her forehead. Myles was located walking on Clark Street and was taken into custody.
Criminal Trespass — William A. Hollowell, 63, of Huntingdon, was arrested on July 8 for Criminal Trespass and Public Intoxication.
Officer Townes responded to the railroad tracks behind Espey Oil in Huntingdon. A concerned citizen called emergency services to report a man walking in the middle of the railroad tracks and a train was coming. The caller did state that when the train came the defendant did get off the tracks but then returned once the train went by. Officer Townes gave verbal commands for the man to get off the tracks many times as he was staggering and putting himself in danger. The defendant then attempted to run from Officer Townes, but she caught him after he got caught in some bushes. The defendant had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and was taken to Carroll County Jail.
