From the Aug 26, 2025 e-EditionAssault — Christopher F. Graham, 40, Elm Street, McKenzie was charged with Simple Assault on August 20.
Officer Dalton Raspberry filed the report stating the 19-year-old male victim was walking on the sidewalk passing Graham’s residence on Elm, when Graham came to the sidewalk and assaulted him. That occurred after a verbal exchange.
Drug Paraphernalia — Kenneth J. Bradford, 59, Walnut Circle, McKenzie was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on August 24.
Officer Steven Scott executed a search warrant for the residence and located a glass pipe, grinder, and empty pill bottles containing marijuana residue.
Theft — The Happy Book Stack was the victim of theft of two small dining tables and four chairs that were placed in front of the store on Broadway Street.
Officer Daniel Pollard investigated the theft.
Public Intoxication, Vandalism — Kenneth Whitson, 56, Walnut Circle, McKenzie, was charged with Public Intoxication and Vandalism on August 21.
Officer Timothy Dillon responded to a complaint on Park Lane where the resident there stated a man had broken his Blackstone grill and was sitting on his back porch while intoxicated. A description of the man led to the arrest of Whitson at his home on Walnut Circle. Whitson was transported to Carroll County Jail.
Driving on Suspended License — Lamon Matrell Robinson, 38, Park Circle, McKenzie was charged with Driving on a Suspended License, Disregarding a Stop Sign, and Inoperable Brake Lights on August 20.
Officer Dustin McClure stopped Robinson’s vehicle for failure to stop at a stop sign. The officer also noticed Robinson’s brake lights did not work. A check of Robinson’s license revealed the suspended status. Robinson was cited into Carroll County Jail.
Leaving The Scene of Accident with Property Damage — Lukas Lei Thum, 22, Moran Road, Greenfield was charged with Leaving The Scene of an Accident on August 17.
A report by Officer Dalton Raspberry said that Thum came to the police department on August 17 and admitted he was the one who left Rival’s Bar and drove behind the building and then striking the dumpster beside Maria’s Restaurant on the far end of the complex. The wreck disabled the central heating and air and wiring of the restaurant. Thum attempted to drive home in the damaged car, but only traveled a portion of the way to Greenfield.
Theft of Merchandise — Joshua Paul Schenik, 31, Stonewall Street, McKenzie was charged with Theft of Merchandise on August 17.
Officer Dalton Raspberry was dispatched to Eagle Food Store, a convenience store, where Scheinik was accused of theft of three energy drinks valued at $26.31. The officer when to Schenik’s residence to question him about the incident. Schenik admitted to the theft and said he had already contacted his probation officer. He was cited into Carroll County Jail.
