From the Sep 30, 2025 e-EditionReckless Endangerment, Leaving The Scene — Terry M. Scott, 71, Hamilton Street, McKenzie is charged with two counts of Reckless Driving and Leaving The Scene of an Accident after his vehicle struck the shopping cart corral at Dollar General on Highland Drive.
Officer Timothy Dillon filed a report stating Scott drove his vehicle into the outdoor shopping cart corral on the front of the store and endangered the lives of two employees who were outside. Scott then left the scene prior to MPD’s arrival. The two employees and another witness provided information about the incident and officers went to Scott’s residences and arrested him.
Criminal Trespass — Timothy Scott Hickey, 36, Brighton, Tenn. was charged with Theft and Criminal Trespass on September 27.
Officer Steven Scott filed the report stating Hickey went to a residence, stole a car key and departed the residence. He had previously been banned from the property. Warrants were issued for his arrest.
Theft — A Walnut Avenue resident reported the theft of a radio on September 27. He told Officer Timothy Dillon that he was moving from the residence and when he returned, the radio was missing.
