From the Nov 4, 2025 e-EditionDriving on Revoked License — Christopher Page, 41, Highway 69, Paris was charged with Driving on Revoked License - Second Offense as he operated his riding lawnmower on Magnolia Street on October 29, 8:46 p.m..
Officer Timothy Dillon observed Page operating the lawnmower, traveling westbound, when a motorist almost struck the mower because it did not have proper lighting.
Officer Dillon stopped the mower and learned Page’s driver’s license was revoked. He was cited into General Sessions Court.
Gasoline Theft — Pocket’s Convenience Store reported theft of $50 of gasoline after an elderly man pumped fuel and drove away without paying on November 2.
Public Intoxication — David E. Palmer, 57, McClure Street, McKenzie, was charged with Public Intoxication on November 1.
Officer Jayden Rembert was dispatched to Walnut Circle where occupants of the apartment said Palmer would not leave and was threatening individuals at the house.
Palmer was arrested and transported to Carroll County Jail. He was on probation and parole for a prior conviction out of Paris, Tenn.
Theft — Angela Thorton, 47, McKenzie reported she had a gold bracelet stolen from a room at the Relax Inn in McKenzie on October 30. The housekeeper stated she had not been in the room.
Officer Timothy Dillon filed the report.
