From the Jan 6, 2026 e-EditionThreats of Domestic Assault — Paul T. Massicotte, Blooming Grove Road, McKenzie, was charged with Simple Assault after he made threats of bodily harm to family members on January 3.
Officer Timothy Dillon was dispatched to Oaklawn Drive, where Massicotte was located. He had phoned family members with threats. Massicotte is homeless and residing in his vehicle. Weapons were taken into custody, and Massicotte was transported to Weakley County Jail.
Stolen Motorcycle — A 1983 Honda Gold Wing motorcycle was reported stolen from a Walnut Avenue residence on December 28.
Officer Jeff Winberry filed a report stating it was removed from the porch of the residence at around 8:30 p.m. The motorcycle was owned by a female residing on 423 Lane.
On December 29, a man brought the motorcycle to the police station after he heard it might have been stolen. He said he paid $100 to the man who reported the motorcycle stolen. Police impounded the motorcycle and the man, who reported the theft, is the suspect in the case.
Criminal Trespassing — Maurice Lawrence 32, of McKenzie, was charged with Trespassing after he was inside Wyatt’s Coin Laundry on January 1.
Officer Matthew Cunningham was dispatched to the laundry, where Lawrence is banned. He was transported to Carroll County Jail.
