McKenzie Police Reports 9-23-25
From the Sep 23, 2025 e-EditionAggravated Cruelty to Animals — Thomas A. Walker, 20, McDonald Avenue, McKenzie was charged with Aggravated Cruelty to Animals on September 16.
Officer Jayden Rembert filed the report stating that witnesses observed a dead dog in a trash bag and then phoned the police. The witnesses stated they had a recording of Walker admitting to the act because the dog had bitten one of his children. Walker stated he had intended to dispose of the dog’s remains.
Sexual Battery — Christopher Blake Poole, 26, Walnut Circle, McKenzie is accused of Sexual Battery following an incident in downtown McKenzie.
Officer Timothy Dillon filed a report stating that a female was at the Nights on Broadway on September 18 when Poole asked her to accompany him to a vacant, but open-air building on Lee Street, where he reportedly made unwanted physical contact with her. The female stated the advances toward her were unwanted. She and a female friend went to the MPD station to report the incident.
Poole denied the accusation.
Driving on Suspended License — Emily Tindall, 31, McCall Street, Huntingdon, was charged with Driving on a Suspended License, Violation of the Light Law and Violation of Financial Responsibility on September 20.
Officer Jayden Rembert stopped Tindall’s vehicle for an inoperable right headlight. During the stop, he learned of her license suspension and the lack of insurance. She was cited into General Sessions Court.
