Drug/Narcotic Violation — On October 21, Deputy Bongiovanni conducted a traffic stop on a maroon Chevy Silverado. The driver, Charles Joseph Rowden, 58, of Huntingdon, appeared nervous. After being asked if he had anything illegal in the vehicle, he stated no but he didn’t want anyone to search it. The deputy dispatched K9 and did an open-air sniff and he gave a positive indication for an odor of narcotics. The search of the vehicle resulted in finding 1.8 grams of meth and a smoking glass. Charles was then arrested and transferred to Carroll County Jail.

Theft — A citizen of Hollow Rock reported theft of his property on October 19. A black two-man deer stand, black reveal trail cam, and a black browning trail cam. The items are valued at $469. This is still an open investigation.
