Domestic Assault — Dennis L. Pruitt, 50, of Hollow Rock, was arrested on April 9, for Domestic Assault. The sheriff’s department was dispatched to a home in Hollow Rock for a domestic situation when upon arrival the victim’s brother stated that they were in the back room yelling at each other. As the deputies entered the room, they could smell alcohol and witnessed Pruitt and the victim lying in bed and arguing with each other. When asked what’s going on, the victim claimed Dennis hit her in the eye. Dennis claimed he bumped her with his elbow and did not deny hitting her first. Dennis was noticeably intoxicated and transported to Carroll County Jail.

Jail/Prison/Corrections Facility — Curtis William Kaehler, 27, of Barstow, California, was being booked on April 6 when he was asked to be put through the body scanner. While running the scan, a watch-like object was seen in the rectal area. When the inmate was asked about the object, he stated it was an Apple watch that he was going to use to make calls with in jail.

Driving Under the Influence — Jason Duane Lillie, 47, of Yuma, was arrested on April 5 for Driving under the Influence. Lillie was pulled over after he failed to stop at a stop sign. Lillie smelled of alcohol and did poorly on the field sobriety test.

Domestic Assault — Andrew Arnold Tosh, 36, of Clarksburg, was arrested on April 7 for Domestic Assault. On April 5, Carroll County Dispatch received a call about Tosh tearing up a family member’s house. When the deputies arrived, Tosh jumped over the fence and ran away. The caller stated she was in fear for her life and safety when the defendant was in her residence. On April 7 the caller stated the defendant was back at the residence when she pulled into the driveway. She said he started to get upset towards the victim, so she left and called 911. Sgt. Tucker, Deputy Davis, and Deputy Birmingham contacted Tosh and put him under arrest.
