Drug Violation — Wendy Love Calderon, 49, of McKenzie, concealed a hydrocodone pill in a clear plastic bag inside of her arm sling and brought the item into the jail. Jail staff discovered the pill during the defendants initial booking into the jail for her weekend time to serve.

Public Intoxication — Rodger Dale Lawson, 34, of McKenzie, was arrested for public intoxication on April 19. Lawson was found close to Dollar General in Trezevant walking around very irate and yelling that his family members are being held hostage. He was arrested for his safety and the safety of others.

Theft of Property — Matthew Frank Long of McKenzie reported that his trailer was stolen. The trailer is described as a 2019 Ram Model and is 6x14 utility trailer with a ramp.

Assault — William Alexander Raspa, 29, of McKenzie, was at the Baptist Emergency Room as an inmate when he assaulted the staff. Raspa assaulted a Correctional officer and two RNs. The victims stated that the offender struck Mr. Lease on the left side of the face with his fist. The offender then gained control of his Taser and drive-stunned Mr. Lease, and both the RNs while they were all attempting to take him to the ground. He was then restrained and taken into custody with no further incident.
