Domestic Assault — James Darrell Walker, 53, of Bruceton, on March 28 was reported to have punched Bruce King in the left cheek at Bruce’s home. Walker supposedly stated to King that he needed to get out of his house that was left to Bruce King by his mother in a deed.

Drug/Narcotic Violation — Susan Denise Coplin, 58, of McKenzie, on March 28 was stopped by Sgt. Scott for a display of plate violation. Coplin appeared to be under the influence of an intoxicant when Scott was speaking with her. She stated that she only had a sip of alcohol but had also taken Xanax. Coplin was found to have an empty pill bottle with six Xanax pills with no readable label on it or proof that she had a prescription for the drug. She was then arrested for simple possession of schedule IV Xanax.

Domestic Assault — Terry Lee Watford, 58, of Atwood, on March 29 was arrested for Domestic Assault.. Based on the extent of the victim’s apparent injuries and bruising, Watford was taken into custody. Watford has a prior domestic in July 2021.

Possession of Schedule II Drugs/Impersonation — Joey Daniel Miller, 28, of Wildserville, on April 1 was arrested for criminal impersonation and possession of schedule II meth. Miller was a passenger of a vehicle that had been pulled over for failing to stop at a stop sign. The passenger was not wearing a seat belt; so, he was asked his name when he gave a false name and birth date. After a search of the vehicle, inside a makeup compartment was a crystal-like substance that later tested positive for meth. The passenger claimed the meth as his, and the driver gave the passenger’s name which showed he had active warrants out of Henderson County also.
