From the Jul 2, 2024 e-EditionNarcotics Found by Citizen — On June 22, Carroll County Sheriff’s Department received a call from Captain Davis from the National Guard Training Center located in Milan, TN. Captain Davis stated that one of his soldiers brought him a bag with money, marijuana (2.4 grams) and drug paraphernalia. The soldier stated that he was spraying weeds around the fences and was headed to the volleyball court to spray weeds around that area and that was when he discovered the bag. The bag was opened and when he saw the contents he turned it in to Captain Davis. There was one glass jar that had small baggies inside the jar and two of the baggies contained a green leafy-like substance believed to be marijuana, $70 cash, 1 scale, 1 box of plastic baggies, and one small bag of tobacco.
Trespass — Caleb Isaiah Crisp, 19, of Madison, Alabama, was charged with Criminal Trespass on June 20. Deputy Jeremy Smith received a call from police officer Justin Roberts that Caleb Crisp was back on a property he was banned from previously. After calling dispatch, Deputy Smith confirmed Crisp had trespassed. Upon arrival, Crisp admitted he knew he was banned from the home.
Domestic Assault — Christian Workman, 27, of Trezevant is accused of Domestic Assault on June 20. Deputy Jeremy Smith received a call for a domestic dispute in Trezevant. The victim was standing by at Trezevant City Hall. On the deputy’s arrival, he saw the victim who had visible bruising on her arms, chest, two swollen and bruised eyes, and a busted lip. She gave a written statement that Christian Workman assaulted her. The two black eyes were from a previous incident on May 29 from the same man. Workman also punched the victim’s car on the driver side twice leaving two dents on the door.
