Aggravated Criminal Littering — According to a report made by Deputy Jeremy Smith, on August 28, he received a public service about illegal dumping on Brewer Road off Spring Creek Rd. in Lavinia from John Robinson. Robinson stated that his friend was able to get a photo of a vehicle dumping material on the side of the road into a creek on Brewer Road. It was a 2005 gold GMC Yukon registered to Joseph Scott of Jackson. On September 3, Sawyers and Meier went to Brewer Road and found a receipt from Sherwin Williams paint store in Jackson. Investigator Sawyers spoke with Scot Whitaker who stated that he had stopped and talked to a guy that was dumping what looked like construction scraps. The guy told him he had been dumping there for years. Mr. Whitaker did get a picture of the license plate and identified the registered owner of the vehicle to be the same person that he talked to at the dump site.
