From the Sep 3, 2024 e-EditionSimple Assault — According to a report made by Deputy Angel Furr on August 24, Deputy Furr was dispatched to a home on Milam Road in Huntingdon in reference to a male subject wanting to file assault charges on his father-in-law. The caller advised that his father-in-law hit him in the stomach and made him get out of the vehicle. The victim, Trenton Laplace, said he was in the vehicle with Terry Evans, 62, of Huntingdon when the two got into a verbal argument. Trent said Terry hit him across his stomach while slamming on the brakes. After CCSO arrived at Terry’s home, he admitted to hitting Trenton and booked into Carroll County Jail.
Drug/Narcotic Violation — According to a report made by Deputy Jeremy Smith on August 25, Cpl Sierra Denny was going through the personal belongings of Donna Shadix, 22, of Camden, to be entered into property when he found a cigar with marijuana rolled up in it and a white powdery substance on foil which tested as methamphetamine.
