TENNESSEE (July 8) — Average gasoline prices in Tennessee increased 5.8 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.15/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 3,821 stations in Tennessee. Prices in Tennessee are 14.2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 4.4 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel hincreased 3.6 cents in the last week and stands at $3.81 per gallon.

ATLANTA, Grassroots Newswire (July 3) — Two area career and technical student won one of the nation’s highest awards at the 2024 SkillsUSA Championships, held in Atlanta, on June 26-27. More than 6,000 students competed at the national showcase of career and technical education. The SkillsUSA Championships is the largest skill competition in the world and covers 1.79 million square feet, equivalent to 31 football fields or 41 acres.
